1060 회전근개 수술 후 한의 치료에 대한 비용효과성 평가 연구 : A Scoping Review 공나경·김남권·김현민·이혜윤 20220425 ~ 학회지
This scoping review was conducted to identify the trends of cost-effectiveness studies on treatment of Korean medicine after rotator cuff surgery and indicators used in those studies. In researching stage, “patients after rotator cuff surgery”, “cost-effectiveness evaluation” and “treatment of Korean medicine” were set as the keywords in “Pubmed”, “Google scholar” and Korean databases (RISS, OASIS, KCI). There were no studies containing all three keywords, and after searching separately for “cost-effectiveness evaluation” and “treatment of Korean medicine”, each 7 studies were reviewed. The indicators used in the study were identified such as study design, characteristics of subjects, outcome measurement and others. This study identified the need for cost-effectiveness evaluation on the treatment of Korean medicine after rotator cuff surgery. We expect that those indicators will be used to implement other studies afterwards.

Postherpetic neuralgia(PHN) is one of the most common intractable chronic pain syndromes. This review was conducted to investigates the trends in recent clinical studies of PHN in China and to find out the efficacy of Chinese medicine treatment for PHN. Based on CNKI databases, nineteen randomized controlled trials(RCTs) were analyzed. The search focused on the authors, publication year, sample size, age, duration of illness, treatment period, lesion sites, methods, outcome measures, and results of the selected articles. Four studies used herbal medicine. The most frequently used herbs were Angelicae Gigantis Radix(當歸) and Corydalis Tube(玄胡索). Eighteen studies used acupuncture treatment. The most frequently used acupoints were ST36, LR3, LI4. Three studies used moxibustion and 5 studies used cupping treatment. In all nineteen studies, the efficacy of Chinese medicine treatments was confirmed. More varied and scientifically designed clinical studies are required to develop treatments for PHN. The results of current study could be used as guidance for further studies of treatment on PHN.

This study aimed to investigate the anti-stress function of Aucklandiae Radix (AR) and Cyperi Rhizoma (CR). The essential oils used in the experiment were extracted from AR and CR using Steam Distillation Extraction and Super critical CO2 extraction. To observe the effects of sample administration, we measured feed intake, leukocytes, red blood cells, hemoglobin, platelets, serum serotonin content, immobility time, climbing time, and swimming time in mice subjected to chronic restraint stress as behavioral changes. The average body weight of all experimental groups increased than the average body weight of the control group. The immobility and climbing times of experimental groups A and B administered with supercritical extraction samples were shorter than those of the other experimental groups and the control group, and the swimming time was longer. The serotonin content in the blood of all experimental groups decreased compared to the normal group, and the serotonin content of the control group was increased. The authors suggest that Korean herbal medicines AR and CR may be utilized as anti-stress flavoring agents based on the above results.

Rodent model for chronic cerebral hypoperfusion caused by bilateral carotid artery occlusion (BCAO) show clinically relevant evidences for vascular dementia and impairments of synaptic plasticity in the hippocampus. The purpose of this study was to evaluate effect of fermented garlic (F-Garlic) extract with NO metabolites on cognitive behaviors, synaptic plasticity, and molecular events in the hippocampus following BCAO. Adult male Sprague-Dawley rats were randomly divided three experimental groups into: control+water; BCAO+water; BCAO+F-Garlic. Animals were treated with oral administration of F-Garlic in tap water as a drinking water after surgery for 4 weeks. On passive avoidance test and Y-maze test, BCAO+water showed a significant decrease in step-through latency and spontaneous alteration, indicating deficit of hippocampal memory formation but the treatment of F-Garlic significantly increased these cognitive behaviors. In control+water, a robust increase in the amplitude of evoked field excitatory postsynaptic potentials was observed by theta burst stimulation to hippocampal neural circuit indicating formation of long-term potentiation (LTP) in the hippocampal CA1. BCAO+water showed a highly significant deficit in LTP induction 4 weeks after BCAO. On other hand, daily oral administration of F-Garlic extract caused the marked preservation of LTP induction. Moreover, parvalbumin was markedly reduced in the CA1, especially, in the stratum radiatum of BCAO+water. In contrast, BCAO+F-Garlic mitigate a significantly reduction of the parvalbumin. In summary, these results suggest that daily oral administration of F-Garlic extract can ameliorate cognitive memory deficit through the preservation of synaptic plasticity and interneurons integrity in the hippocampus in rodent model of chronic cerebral hypoperfusion.
