| Objects : This report was performed to in order to compare the present Oriental Medical Therapeutic Method on Dematology and Aesthetics with traditional acupuncture method. Methods : We searched the current Oriental medical literature related to Dermatology and Aesthetics and compare the methods with the traditional methods. Conclusions : There are many new articles of Oriental medical therapy on Acne, Alopecia, Skin aging and Cosmetic surgery. Lots of therapeutic methods of Korean Medical cosmetic manipulations are developed from the traditional acupuncture manipulations. |

| The concepts of beauty is developed on the concept of social favorability. Physiognomy is the study which infers characteristics, constitutions, predictions of one person from his appearance. And inspection of Oriental Medicine is a one way of diagnosing by observing outer shape of patients. Recently, Countless patients repeat various procedures to adjust their looks. It is a self-destructive behavior. On the view point of physiognomy, lots of cosmetic surgery is not good for their physiognomic states. The study is about the relationships among the appearance, spirit, physoignomy, favorability and the meridian treatment method. A beauty is mental pleasure formed by five-sense information including visual information or super sensibilities. But the recent cosmetic surgery are making harmful influences on their favorability as well as beauty. But, physiognomy is the result of thousands year of observation of the relationship between appearance and destiny. I investigate the various standards of ways of acupunture and meridian stimulating method which is making good influences on the beauty as well as social favorability. |

| In ancient time, makeup initiated for the religious ritual in both the Wester and Eastern history. The ancient Egyptians seem to have affected the make-up according to that you have an immortal soul. Crete people had a dark eye make-up to have more intense looks on the outward appearance, as the Egyptians. The ancient Greeks were seeking the natural beauty. In Roman times, people preferred the more intense makeup. In Han Dynasty, people prefers red makeup white skin. Tang Dynasty developed the Han's red makeup. In Song Dynasty, people preferred the thin, clear makeup. In Yuan Dynasty, people preferred pink cheeks and long straight eyebrow makeup. In Koryo Dynasty, clear skin and red cheeks were favoured. In Ming and Ching Dynasty, thin and clear makeup skills were favoured. In Chosun Dynasty, due to strict Confucianism makeup skills were restricted until the mid term of the dynasty. | ||||
