| Objective : In this case report, we address a case of a 83-year-old female patient diagnosed with suspicious autoimmune hepatitis. Methods : A patient was treated with herbal medication, Injinoryung-san gagam. We evaluated the improvements of symptoms by AST,ALT,GGT,ALP and total score of Fatigue Severity Scale(FSS). Results : After 4 weeks of taking Injinoryung-san gagam, there were decrease in abnormal liver enzyme levels with improvement of the patient\'s fatigue. Conclusions : This study suggested that Injinoryung-san gagam might be effective in autoimmune hepatitis patient’s liver enzyme levels and fatigue recovery. |

| Objective : The purpose of this case report is to show the effect of Traditional Korean Medicine(TKM) on a patient with Miller Fisher Syndrome. Methods : A patient with Ataxia, Diplopia, Mydriasis diagnosed as Miller Fisher Syndrome was treated with herbal medication, acupuncture, electro-acupuncture, and press needles. Then we evaluated the improvement with the size of pupil, NRS(Numeral Rating Scale) of Diplopia, Assessment for Gait disturbance . Results : We could observe decrease in pupil size and NRS of Diplopia and improve in assessment for gait disturbance after the TKM treatment. Conclusions : This case showed the effect of TKM treatment on Miller Fisher syndrome. |

| Objectives: The purpose is to report the case of Korean medicine in the treatment of bilateral superior altitudinal hemianopia after a stroke. Methods: The patient was treated with acupuncture, electroacupuncture, bee venom, and herbal medicine. The visual field defect was assessed using humphrey visual field analyzer and confrontation visual field test. Results: After treatment, humphrey visual field analyzer and confrontation visual field test showed improvement in field of vision Conclusion: This study suggested that Korean medical treatment could be an effective option for treating visual field defect after stroke. |

| Objectives: The purpose of this case is to report the effectiveness of Korean medicine in the treatment of irritable bowel syndrome with diarrhea. Methods: The patient was diagnosed as a Soeumin, one of the 4 constitution types in Korean medicine, and treated with herbal medicine, Osuyubujaijung-tang and acupuncture treatment. The severity of symptom was assessed using daily defecation frequency, Numerical Rating Scale (NRS) of abdominal pain, Gastrointestinal Symptom Rating Scale (GSRS) score and Irritable Bowel Syndrome - Quality of Life (IBS-QOL) score. Results: After treatment, the defecation frequency was reduced from 6 to 2 times a day, and the severity of abdominal pain was reduced from NRS 6 to NRS 2. Also, GSRS score was decreased from 18 to 4 and IBS-QOL score was improved from 70.59 to 81.18. Conclusion: This study suggested that Korean medical treatment could be an effective option for treating irritable bowel syndrome with diarrhea. |
