■Objectives The purpose of this case report is to show the effect of Traditional Korean Medicine(TKM)
on a patient with Cluster Headache.
■Methods A patient diagnosed as Cluster Headache was treated with herbal medication(Sihogyejitang
plus Oryungsan), acupuncture, electro-acupuncture. Then we evaluated the improvement
with NRS(Numeral Rating Scale) of headache, number of headache attack and O2 inhalation.
■Results We could observe decrease NRS of headache and number of headache and O2 inhalation
after 10 days of the TKM treatment and there was no reattack after treatment for 43days follow up period.
■Conclusion ? This case showed the effect of TKM treatment on Cluster headache.

■Abstract This case study is to report the effectiveness of Hyungbangdojeock-san in the treatment of
daytime sleepiness. The patient was diagnosed as a Soyangin, one of the 4 constitution types
in Korean medicine, and treated with herbal medicine, Hyungbangdojeock-san and acupuncture treatment for 14 days. The severity of symptom was assessed using Epworth Sleepiness
Scale (ESS). After treatment, the severity of daytime sleepiness was reduced. ESS score was
decreased from 11 to 2. As a result this case showed the effect of Hyungbangdojeock-san on
daytime sleepiness.

■Objectives This study reports a case of improvement in a patient with neutropenia after Guillain-Barr?
treatment through combined Korean medicine treatment.
■Methods This patient was hospitalized for 22 days and was treated by herbal medicine, electroacupuncture, and physical therapy. Symptom improvement was evaluated through periodic clinical
pathology examination, manual muscle test(MMT), yanagihara scale, and numeric rastic sclae(NRS).
■Results The clinical symptoms and absolute neutrophil counts of this Guillain-Barr? patient improved after the combined Korean medicine therapy treatment.
■Conclusion ? This study suggests that Korean Medicine can be effective in reducing Guillain-Barre syndrome symptoms and improving intravenous immunogloubulin induced neutropenia, but
more research is required to confirm these results.

■Objectives The purpose of this case is to report the effectiveness of Korean medicine in the treatment
of early stage multiple system atrophy-cerebellar ataxia(MSA-C)
■Methods The patient was treated with acupuncture, bee venom, and herbal medicine. The clinical
symptoms was assessed using unified multiple system atrophy rating scale(UMSARS) and
20M gait time and steps.
■Results After treatment, UMSARS score and 20M gait time and steps showed improvement.
■Conclusion This study suggested that Korean medical treatment could be an effective option for treating
early stage MSA-C.
