| A patient with right upper limb weakness was diagnosed with idiopathic polyneuropathy and received a series of Korean Medicine including acupuncture, electroacupuncture, bee venom acupuncture, and administration of herbal medicine BacJung-hwan for 17 days of hospitalization period. The progression of the weakness was measured by Hand grip tester, neuralgia and numbness were measured by the NRS(Numerical Rating Scale) scores. After treatment, the right grip strength improved from 12kg to 35kg and the right upper limb neuralgia of the NRS5 was improved to NRS2. The present case study suggests that the potential effects of Korean Medicine treatment for idiopathic polyneuropathy. |

| A case of a 66-year-old Korean male with coldness of both extremity that ruled out another mechanical and endocrinologic problem is presented. He was treated with acupuncture, electroacupuncture and herbal medicine - 十全大補湯(Sipjundaebo-tang, Juzentaihoto) and 柴胡桂枝乾薑湯(Sihogyejigungang-tang, Saikokeishikankyouto) We used SF-MPQ grading scale to assess severity of patient’s symptom and DITI to measure patient’s temperature. After Korean medical treatment, there was improvement in subjective symptom of patient and gap of lower extremity temperature. Korean medical treatment may be effective in treating coldness patients. |

They were treated with dietary herbal medicine - 六君子湯(Yukgunja-tang, Liujunzi-tang, Rikkunshi-to) After Yukgunja-tang treatment, there was notable improvement in constipation. | A case of a 47-year-old male patient with Lt.hand pain & cold sensation due to Thrombotic occlusion of Lt. brachial a. is presented. He was treated with acupuncture, electroacupuncture and herbal medicine - 桂枝茯?丸(Gyejibongnyeong-hwan, Keishibukuryo-gan). We used NRS of pain and Digital Infrared Thermal Image(DITI) to evaluate the progress. After 11days of treatment, there were notable improvement in pain scale, DITI. Korean medical treatment may be effective in treating thrombotic occlusion. |
