16 위식도역류질환 환자에서 복부 압통의 특성 연구 이상현, 노기환, 최규호, 노현민, 조나현, 오현아, 주수빈, 최서형 2022-01 ~ 학회지
Objectives: The purpose of this study is to investigate the feature of abdominal pressure pain in patients with gastroesophageal reflux disease(GERD).
Methods: We evaluated 264 patients (male 104, female 160) who had visited Weedahm korean medical hospital for the first time. The patients were classfied into two groups, one with GERD and one control group non-GERD, through
the GERD-Q questionnaire. Also, we measured the pressure pain threshold (PPT) scores of CV12, CV14, and ST25. Then, we statistically compared the PPT scores of the two groups.
Results: The PPT scores of CV14, CV12, and both ST25 tended to be lower in the GERD group. The difference in PPT scores between the GERD group and the non-GERD group was statistically significant.
Conclusions: In the presence of GERD, the overall abdominal PPT tended to decrease, which means it can be considered that the stiffness of the abdomen tends to rise. In conclusion, GERD tends to increase abdominal stiffness,
which may be the cause of increased intra-abdominal pressure, which is a factor inducing GERD.

15 담증후군 환자의 증상 호전과 고지혈증 개선에 대한 한의학적 치료 1례 최규호, 노기환, 이상현, 노현민, 최서형 2022-01 ~ 학회지
Obje cti v e s: The objective of this study is to evaluate the effect of treatment with oriental medicine complex therapy and to observe changes in total cholesterol, high-density lipoprotein cholesterol, low-density lipoprotein cholesterol,
triglyceride in a patient with Phlegm Syndrome.
Methods: A patient with Phlegm Syndrome received oriental medicine complex therapy for 14 days. Clinical symptoms were evaluated with VAS, NDI-K, FD-QoL, BDI score and laboratory tests that included total cholesterol,
high-density lipoprotein cholesterol, low-density lipoprotein cholesterol, triglyceride.
Results: The clinical symptoms (epigastric discomfort, feeling bloated, burping, chest discomfort, sorethroat, breathing difficulty, headache, back pain) and the NDI-K, FD-QoL, BDI score improved after treatment. The laboratory results,
including total cholesterol(222→189 mg/dl), high-density lipoprotein cholesterol(33→41 mg/dl), low-density lipoprotein cholesterol(153→132 mg/dl), triglyceride(166→74 mg/dl) improved. There were also no treatment-related side effects.
Conclusions: Phlegm Syndrome can be treated with oriental medicine complex therapy. However, in one case, the clinical effect is not certain, so further research is needed.

14 극심한 두통과 변비를 동반한 환자에 대한 담적치료 1례 증례보고 이종우, 최서형 2022-01 ~
This case study described a 14 year-old patient with severe headaches and constipation. The patient was treated with phlegm mass-therapy including herbal medication, physical therapy, acupuncture, herbal acupuncture almost improved
in 3-months. This suggests that phlegm mass-therapy could be an effective treatment on patient with severe headaches and constipation.

Background/Aim: Functional dyspepsia is characterized by chronic and recurrent gastrointestinal symptoms without clear causes. This study aimed to evaluate the changes in the autonomic nervous system (ANS) after Korean Medical treatment in patients with functional dyspepsia (FD).

Materials and Methods: A total of 346 patients with FD received a combination of korean medical treatment, including acupuncture, herbal medicine, and various forms of physical stimulation for two weeks. Heart rate variability (HRV) was measured on the day of hospitalization and discharge to measure ANS function.

Results: After treatment, MHR, Ln_LFNorm were statistically significantly lower, and RMSSD and Ln_HFNorm were statistically significantly higher. Other indicators showed a tendency but were not statistically significant.

Conclusions: The study suggests that HRV in FD patients is stabilized through korean medical treatment, and the use of HRV can be considered for future treatment and prognosis determination.
