5 턱관절 균형과 경맥유주의 상응관계 연구 손인철 2011-01-01 ~ 학회지
Objectives: TMJ is the joint that connects the mandible to the skull, and it balances the body by holding the skull in the
right position. The Meridian flows through the whole body. The objective of this study is to examine and clarify the relationship
between the Temporomandibular Joint (TMJ) and the Meridian flow, especially around the TMJ.
Methods: We reviewed the literature on the 8 Extra Meridians and the 12 Main Meridians around the TMJ.
Results & Conclusion: Eight Extra Meridians keep the balance and harmony of the TMJ, and also play an important role
in maintaining equilibrium of Yin and Yang of the whole body. The 12 Main Meridians, twelve Meridian Divergence (12經
別) and Meridian Sinew also play an important role in the balance and harmony of the whole body based on the function
of the Vicera and Bowels (臟腑). So it is conceivable that the role of TMJ is important in terms of health care.

Objectives: Functional Cerebrospinal Therapy (FCST) is a rather new physiologic therapeutics. It has passed about two
decades since its basic idea was founded. This study briefly reviewed its early history.
Methods: The first FCST patient was a stroke patient in the year 1992. Basic ideas of FCST was devised one by one and
later developed into a systematic clinical application. The first official lecture was held in the year 2004. Yinyang balance
in the meridian-system-based network over the whole body was a mainstay idea.
Results: As other stories on newly-developed therapeutics, there was an effort to make a breakthrough for difficult clinical
problems, and followed by a creative initial idea along with incessant refinement in the early history of FCST.
Conclusions: Patient-centered approaches was a mainspring in the development and refinement of FCST. History of FCST
hereafter may well follow the trace.

Abstract
Aim : We investigated muscle force from the upper limb lifting resistance test to conform the objectivity in manual muscle test.
Method : We made standard method in upper limb lifting resistance test to compare with experiment method switching the lower limb position left & right. And resistance forces of upper limb of subject were checked to inspector with closing eyes.
Results : 1. The lifting resistance of right upper limb was stronger when the lower limb of right and left were abducted. 2. The lifting resistance of right upper limb was weaken when the lower limb of right and left were adducted. 3. The lifting resistance of right upper limb was weaken when the lower limb of right and left were elevated.
Conclusion : As the above results, the deltoid muscle force checked in the upper limb lifting resistance test is affected by the location of lower limbs, it suggested that the muscle force of some part in the body will be affected by the other parts. It will be useful to understand the symmetry principle of body in muscle function.

Objectives: Therapeutic effect of Yinyang Balancing Appliance of functional cerebrospinal therapy (FCST) for meridian
and neurologic yinyang balance was observed in dysarthria with dystonia cases.
Methods: Two dysarthria with dystonia cases were managed with the Yinyang Balancing Appliance on temporomandibular
joint (TMJ), combined with acupuncture. Clinical outcome measurement was based on subjective measures
and clinical observations.
Results: The patients showed positive changes even after the initial treatment and this effect maintained over the follow-up
period.
Conclusions: Although it is not clear the effect is a sustaining or temporary in its nature, a positive effect was observed
and further clinical and biological research on FCST is expected.
