24 요추 척추관 협착증 수술 실패 증후군 환자에 대한 한의학적 치료 치험 1례 황희상, 전재천, 차정 2008-01-01 ~ 학회지
The purpose of this study was to evaluate the oriental conservative treatment for FBSS patient who were diagnosed as the lumbar spinal stenosis and the herniated intervertebral lumbar disc(HIVD). The patient were treated by the oriental medical conservative treatment including herbal medication, dry needle acupuncture, indirect moxibustion, cupping therapy and, physical therapy.
We estimated by visual analogue scale(VAS) and the grade of clinical symptoms. After treatment, patient\\\'s visual analogue scale score and the grade of clinical symptoms score were generally decreased. The oriental medical conservative treatment could be effective method to treat the FBSS patient who were diagnosed as the lumbar spinal stenosis and the herniated intervertibral lumbar disc.

The Study on Diagnosis and Assessment of Patient with Cervical Disc Herniation

Objective: Recently, the number of patients with Cervical Disc Herniation is increasing, which results from the rapid increase of computer-use, traffic accidents, and stress among people. Therefore, many methods and instruments for diagnosing and assessing it are being developed. The aim of this study is to introduce many standards for it and compare them with each other.
Method: For exact diagnoses and assessment for Cervical Disc Herniation, diagnostic imaging and the pain and functional disability scales of neck pain were searched and reviewed in MEDLINE.
Result and conclusion :
1. For the diagnosis of Cervical Disc Herniation, X-ray, CT, and MRI are usually available. In case of sensory disability, DITI can be used additionally. MRI, which shows high resolution and contrast and is non-invasive, is mainly used.
2. For the one-dimensional Pain Scale, VAS, VRS, and NRS are clinically used.
3. For the multi-dimensional Pain Scale, MPQ, Pain Behavior Scale, and MMPI are used.
4. For the assessment of functional disability, NDI, NPQ, NPDS, and Copenhagen Neck Functional Disability Index are available.

AbstractA study on Correlation between Dong-Si acupoints and 14 Meridian acupoints - Location and Efficacy of acupoints on the lower extremity

Objectives : Dong-Si acupuncture therapy is widely being used because of good clinical result. The purpose of this study is to compare and study correlation between location and efficacy of Dong-Si acupoints and 14 meridian acupoints

Conclusion :
1. Dong-Si acupoints on the lower extremity are totally 83, and among them, 16 acupoints are the same as 14 meridian acupoints.
2. Between same location points, the efficacy of each Dong-Si acupoints is similar to that of each 14 meridian acupoints in the cases of musculoskeletal pain diseases, paralytic diseases, urogenital diseases, and gastrointestinal diseases.
3. Dr. Dong studied deep into 14 meridian acupoints and created Dong-Si acupuncture therapy. He said distribution of acupuncture points were closely related with 14 meridians.
4. I think that we are able to apply Dong-Si acupuncture therapy to clinical use widely by comprehending character of 14 meridian acupoints and each meridians.

Objectives: This study is performed to introduce Jung-An Acupuncture meridian point and needling method and stand the theological basis of Jung-An Acupuncture.
Methods: We searched the oriental medical literature and related to acupuncture and myofacial release.
Conclusions:
1. Jung-An Acupuncture is one of the effective therapy to the skin disease like freckles, acnes, alopesia, especially on the face, head and neck.
2. Jung-An Acupuncture meridian point is located in the fact, head and neck for the purpose of Eum-Yang balance. Besides Jung-An Acupuncture select the low depth stimulation for the purpose of effective stimulation to the myofacia.
3. The theological basis of Jung-An Acupuncture is organized with Meridian theory and Myofacial release therapy. Probably the effect of Jung-An Acupuncture is of the opinion that demonstrate by increasing the Antioxidant effect of the cell.
