146 현직 한의사의 열등감 경험에 대한 내러티브 탐구: 질적연구 배진수, 김경옥 2022-07-01 ~ 학회지
Objectives: The purpose of this study was to explore the vivid and in-depth stories, of inferiority experienced in the lives of current Korean medicine doctors.
Methods: In-depth interviews were conducted, with two participants. Collected research data were
analyzed, using the narrative inquiry method suggested by Clandinin and Connelly.
Results: Common themes found in participants’ narrative were summarized, by ‘comparison with others’ and ‘various attempts to overcome inferiority feeling’.
Conclusions: This study is meaningful at three levels: personal, social, and practical. Also, it provides
readers with an opportunity to reflect on the way they cope with their inferiority complex, which various people experience in different contexts.
145 LPS에 의해 유도된 인지기능 손상모델에 대한 천마 추출물의 방어효과 권강범, 김하림, 김예슬, 박은희, 강형원, 류도곤 2022-07-01 ~ 학회지
Objectives: Gastrodia elata (GE) has been used to treat cognition impairment, including Alzheimer’s
disease (AD) in Korea. The purpose of this study was to investigate the effects of GE water extracts (GEE)
on the lipopolysaccharide (LPS)-induced AD model in mice. (Aβ).
Methods: We classified six groups as follow; group 1: control (CON), group 2: LPS (0.5 mg/kg/day, four
times), group 3: 4 mg/kg donepezil (DP), group 4: 100 mg/kg GEE+LPS, group 5: 200 mg/kg GEE+LPS,
group 6: 500 mg/kg GEE+LPS.
Results: We found that GEE has an effect that inhibits decrease of discrimination index in object recognition test, as well as spontaneous alteration in the Y-maze test by LPS. Treatment with LPS increased
amlyloid-β (Aβ) concentration, and decreased brain-derived neurotrophic factor (BDNF) in cerebral
cortex of mice. However, GEE significantly protected against LPS-induced Aβ and BDNF changes. Our
findings also showed that the inflammatory cytokines 〔tumor necrosis factor-alpha (TNF-α), interleukin-6 (IL-6) and interleukin-1β (IL-1β)〕 mRNA and protein were up-regulated by the LPS injection.
But GEE significantly suppressed LPS-induced inflammatory cytokines increase in a dose-dependent
manner.
Conclusions: This study suggests that the GEE may be an effective AD therapeutic agent, in treating
neurodegenerative diseases including AD.
144 불면증 관련 천연물 추출물의 특허 동향 분석 이정경, 강성현, 권찬영 2022-07-01 ~ 학회지
Objectives: The purpose of this study was to analyze the trend of natural product-based products for
sleep improvement in Korean patents, to enhance the development and application of natural-products for sleep disorder in terms of Korean medicine.
Methods: We collected patent data using the KIPRIS database and ScienceON database. Two authors
independently screened patents that potentially met the criteria, and assessed full texts of screened
patents for eligibility. Included patents were analyzed, quantitatively as well as qualitatively.
Results: A total of 60 patents were selected 2008-July 2022. The number of patents have been on the
rise since 2017, and reached 12 in 2018. Companies have registered the most patents, followed by the
Industry-University Cooperation Foundation. Zizyphi semen (n=6), Lactuca sativa L. (n=5), Valeriana
fauriei/officinalis (n=4), Poria cocos (n=4) were frequently used herbs among 60 patents. Twenty-one
patents (35%) included medicinal herbs with sleep improving effects. Among 60 patents, alcohol extraction (70%) was mostly used, followed by water immersion (50%), and hot water extraction
(48.3%).
Conclusions: Analysis results showed that various Korean medicine herbs, are being used for natural-products for sleep disorder. The results will be helpful towards inventing new patents using Korean
medicine, developing natural product extracts for sleep improvement, and extending the range of
these products in clinical use.
143 불안에 대한 한의정신요법과 중의정신요법의 비교고찰: 임상연구를 중심으로 이지원, 황인준, 박민령, 권찬영 2022-07-01 ~ 학회지
Objectives: To compare Korean medicine (KM) and traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) psychotherapy
for anxiety.
Methods: Databases including MEDLINE (via PubMed), EMBASE (via Elsevier), Cochrane Central Register
of Controlled Trials, China National Knowledge Infrastructure, and Oriental Medicine Advanced
Searching Integrated System were comprehensively searched. Prospective clinical studies on KM or
TCM psychotherapy for patients with anxiety disorder or individuals with elevated anxiety levels published up to August 3, 2022 were reviewed. Psychotherapy was divided into counselling, art therapy,
and meditation according to its characteristics.
Results: A total of 12 clinical studies were reviewed, including nine randomized controlled trials. The
most common disorder investigated was post-traumatic stress disorder. Ten studies used TCM psychotherapy and two used KM psychotherapy. As for differences between TCM psychotherapy and KM psychotherapy, TCM psychotherapy utilized pattern identification in the procedure more actively than KM
psychotherapy. In addition, some TCM studies have attempted to directly converge Western psychotherapy (i.e., hypnosis) and Eastern psychotherapy (i.e., Taoin qigong therapy). In the case of KM psychotherapy, there was an attempt to incorporate psychotherapy with Sasang constitutional medicine.
Reported effects of TCM psychotherapy and KM psychotherapy on anxiety were positive.
Conclusions: Research status of KM psychotherapy and TCM psychotherapy for anxiety was investigated, revealing some of their characteristics, commonalities, and differences. Findings of this review
have the potential to provide a clue to the development of conventional KM psychotherapy and new
medical technology for KM psychotherapy
