164 Association between cold-heat symptoms and sleep disturbances according to the Sasang constitution: a cross-sectional community study Min Kyunh Hyun, Tetsuhiro Yoshino 2022-01 ~ 학회지
Objectives : Evidence supporting the cold-heat symptom and sasang constitution type, which are diagnostic items of traditional Korean medicine, is needed to manage sleep disturbances, which is a typical symptom of mibyeong (subhealth). This study examined the association between each cold-heat symptom and sleep disturbances according to each sasang constitution type.
Methods : This research was a cross-sectional study of 5,793 subjects from the Korean Medicine Data Center (KDC) community cohort survey. The association between each cold-heat symptom and sleep disturbances was analyzed by logistic regression analysis adjusted for several demographic variables. Subgroup analysis was then performed for each type of sasang constitution.
Results : The soeum and soyang types were 1.53 and 1.26 times more likely to have sleep disturbances than the taeum type. Sleep disturbances were associated with ‘coldness of the abdomen’, ‘watery mouth’ in the cold domain items, and ‘body feverishness’, ‘flushed face and eye’, ‘thirst’, and ‘scanty dark urine’ in the heat domain items. The soeum and soyang types were 1.55 and 1.39 times more likely to sleep less than five hours per night than the taeeum type. In addition, the associations of those showed a different pattern for each sasang constitution type.
Conclusions : Sleep disturbances are associated with specific cold-heat symptoms, and the associated cold-heat symptoms differ according to the sasang constitution type. These results may help traditional medicine specialists select customized interventions for patients with sleep disturbances.

163 델파이-AHP 기법을 사용한 국가한의약정책 우선순위에 관한 연구 - 제4차 한의약육성발전종합계획을 중심으로 - 이은희, 김동수, 박수경 2022-01 ~ 학회지
Objectives : The purpose of this study is to identify priorities for the 4th Comprehensive Plan for Korean Medicine Development using Delphi and AHP techniques.
Methods : This study uses Delphi-AHP method to first, select the target priority policy based on the policy content of the 4th Comprehensive Plan. In addition, two surveys on the priorities were conducted to reach consensus between experts. The main results of the first survey were also provided to experts participating in the second survey to help form expert consensus. Finally, the final policy priority was chosen based on the second survey result.
Results : Survey results showed that of the 39 policies in the 4th Comprehensive Plan, “improve the accessibility of Korean medicines,” was the most important goal. This was followed by “support for Korean medicine R&D from clinical research to industrialization,” “provide foundation for a pilot project that provides customized medical services” and “strengthen the public medicine function of Korean medicine by expanding the its infrastructure in national and public hospitals.”
Conclusion : The results showed that capacity building of Korean medicine in primary care, improvement of the health insurance system, and research centered on industrialization are relatively more important goals, while the need to enhance global competitiveness was much less important. These key points can serve as a reference when formulating the 5th Comprehensive Plan for Korean Medicine Development in the future.

162 한의사의 감염관리 인식과 교육에 따른 실천도 변화 조사 김주철,성수현,이은경 2021-12-31 ~ 학회지
Objectives : This study was conducted to identify the perception level of infection control among Korean medical doctors(KMD) and to examine the comparison of practice level depending on infection control education. Methods : Data were collected from 552 Korean medical doctors. The collected data were analyzed through frequency analysis, chi-square analysis(χ²-test), cross analysis and t-test using SPSS 25.0 program. A measurement variable is perception and practice level of infection, education satisfaction. The maximum significance level was 0.05. Results : First, After infection control education, practice score increased from an average of 2.98 to 3.46. Second, Actual practice before and after infection management education sessions showed high engagement in infection management in Korean medical clinics after the education sessions, with the highest practices in cleaning, disinfection, sterilization management of medical device(4.26) Infection prevention and control during acupuncture, pharmacopuncture, cupping, moxibustion, chuna procedures(4.18), and Hygiene and safety management before dispensing(4.18). Third, Infection management education leading to additional educational at Korean medical institution according to the help received in operating Korean medical institution was shown to be significant(p=0.032). Conclusion : From the results of this study, in order to improve the practice of infectious control of Korean medical doctors, infection control education is essential. The education on infection control is required to Korean medical doctors it would contribute to preventing healthcare associated infections in Korean medicine.

Objective : This study examined the status of qualitative research related to Korean Medicine (KM) published until 2020 using Consolidated Criteria for Reporting Qualitative Research (COREQ) and Standards for Reporting Qualitative Research (SRQR) Methods : PubMed and five domestic databases (NDSL(scienceon), DBpia, KISS, RISS, and OASIS) were searched for qualitative research related to KM published until October 2020. The completeness of the reports was assessed using the COREQ and SRQR, which are representative qualitative research reporting tools. Results : After the search and selection process, thirty-nine qualitative studies were included in this study. Since the first publication in 2004, the number of publications increased from 2011 and has been increasing steadily. Approximately 71.8% of the article's data collection methods were only face-to-face interviews. An analysis of the 37 articles using COREQ revealed a report rate for domains one, two, and three of 33.8% (2.7/8), 64% (9.6/15), and 75.4% (7.5/10), respectively. Domain three was the best reported and domain one was the lowest. When the total number of COREQ items was out of 33, there were seven studies with 24 to 31 points (70% or more) and eight studies with 12 to 16 points (50% or less). An analysis of the 39 SRQR showed that the studies were described well in general, but the conflicts of interest and funding sources were insufficiently described. Conclusion : Although the qualitative research related to KM has limitations in terms of the diversity of research institutions, it is increasing steadily. On the other hand, to conduct high-quality qualitative research, it will be necessary to follow checklists accurately, such as COREQ and SRQR.
