| Objective: The purpose of this study is to report the effect of gold thread implantation acupuncture on telogen effluvium on eyebrows. Methods: Three female patients with telogen effluvium on eyebrows were treated with gold thread implantation acupuncture. The improvement of telogen effluvium was judged by photographies. Results: After one treatment by gold thread implantation acupuncture, each telogen effluvium of three patients was improved visually and photographically. Conclusions: This case study suggests that gold thread implantation acupuncture has a good effect on telogen effluvium on eyebrows. But further studies are required to prove the effectiveness of gold thread implantation acupuncture on telogen effluvium on eyebrows.
